5. Enter the SAP system related Data

 

Run a first "Check Config". This will look for existing configuration in the XSI area.

 

You will be asked to determine the system and to enter client, user and password. Now the system will be checked by reading only data from the SAP system.

Within this check the system will (try to) detect whether or not the SAP scripting is active. This feature is needed for the configurator to automatically do the configuration.  In case the SAP scripting is inactive there will be an entry in the "Configuration" grid under 8. SAP scripting is inactive.  Also in the section "SAP Configuration" all buttons will be inactive.  If you (or the system administrator) can not activate SAP scripting you can do the configuration manually on your system.
